Unless your dad is coding in FORTRAN or some other language that is no longer taught today, there is no reason why that same company couldn’t hire 3 college kids and pay all of them collectively, still less than what they’re paying him right now. He must know this.

I had a computer teacher in middle school who was very proficient in punchcards and COBOL. Didn’t know dick about the Windows 95 he was supposed to be teaching us.

I mean, of course computers have complicated our lives. They add value and allow us to do a lot more things. And when you get enough people relying on this added value, that can cause complications based on expectations and desires. But the same has been true of every major technological advancement.

2017 is like “HA! And you assholes thought 2016 was a disaster!”

He lacks the critical thinking skills to even figure out how words work. He is a complete fucking idiot.

Well, they didn’t invent computers. Nor do we use much of the code they wrote these days. However, you know goddamn well I’m talking about your Mom and her inability to figure out Facebook, nevermind things like Net Neutrality and InfoSec, and not Bill Fucking Gates. Ass.

On the “not knowing it’s real” front, a few years ago Trump “bought out the WWE” in storyline. Not knowing it was just an angle, Wall Street panicked and WWE’s stock tanked, forcing the company to abandon the Trump storyline immediately.
