“Franky’s Rubber Dick and Baby Kitten Emporium”
Nope. I liked all 3, especially Last Jedi
I know, I’ve thought about it a couple of times but never got around to Googling if anyone had uploaded them anywhere. Going to have to start again from the beginning I think lol
Got it from the Reddit thread above too, thanks!
You’re my hero!
No worries, figured I’d check first to save myself some Googling
I choose to forget that this is a thing
Do you have a link? I never got to finish reading them (stopped somewhere around when David showed back up and was torturing Rachel) and unfortunately the ones I had got destroyed in a basement flood many years ago
Makes me wonder if it’s a correlation or a causation
I’m ok with that...
“Basically, she dies in order to motivate a group of men”
“Some character deliberately searching for and finding the machine, and turning it back on, would have been the best”
I get that perspective but I saw it more as Marvel saying, “Yeah, we hear you and admit we fucked up on the women as major players front. Here’s a down payment on doing better”
I agree with everything you said except,
“I think the main issue is that superhero movies are calculated and workshopped by major corporations to please people and there’s little, if any room, for original voice or questions about the human condition”
In lieu of a longer rant about that piece: Agreed, fuck Scorsese
Any time going to a movie comes up I really want to know what movie theaters people are going to because this (and every other annoyance a good third of people whine about on every article about it) is not a thing that I experience basically ever
“Dallas Cowboys Appreciation Day”
Plenty of places have already argued this; that kids are, in some fucking reality, not mature enough to decide to have an abortion but are somehow mature enough to be a fucking parent
Seconded on Upgrade; I can’t believe no one else has listed it yet
