“You’d think these people were cheering for the Pats, they’re so goddamn entitled”

That’s why I’d take both this and the linked piece with a bunch of salt. All it says is that more people are registering as Repubs than Dems but doesn’t say anything about total registration numbers
Seriously. I don’t get why people try to push that bullshit because, in this reality, that’s not how shit works. Some of it, maybe, would filter down but not even close to all of it
“I actually do not think that prison time is the proper punishment for a lot of crimes, and maybe this is one of them”
And there would be some kind of evidence of abuse or neglect before that happened, they wouldn’t just go from zero to murder out of nowhere
I have a running bet with one of my uncles in MI that a team, any team, will have a Super Bowl threepeat before the Lions win one
Broncos fan here. AFC West checks out because I’d only ever draft Raiders players from within the division, fuck “LA” and KC
Ok, let’s say they prosecute and put this guy in prison. What purpose does that serve other than to further punish the rest of his family?

I’d go a step further, make it an voice saying “Did you check your back seat?” whenever the car is shut off no matter the doors that were opened
Not going to disagree necessarily but, in this case, what purpose would it serve to imprison the guy other than even further punishing the rest of his family? IFAIK there is nothing to indicate it was intentional
And I’d put money down that things happen far more often to people like yourself that “know” it would *never* happen with them. Acknowledging that something *could* happen is step one in preventing it from happening
“you neglected someone.. your actions or lack there of resulted in the death of someone.. you should serve jail time”
Someone above mentioned that new GM vehicles have a tone/screen warning to check the back seat. Now that new cars are required to have backup cameras I don’t see why we can’t mandate that to be programmed in as well
GFY
I didn’t know that but it’s a damn good idea. Now that new cars are required to have backup cameras it’d be an easy thing to program into all cars with (basically) zero cost
Or realized it before anything happened at all...
Probably just pulled it open further since they both died first
