I feel horrible saying this, but part of me hopes they get their wish and blow up one of the best things we’ve done as a country in decades. Because for once they’ll have to own up to their terrible agenda, and have to justify it to the voters next November.

I think it’s pretty clear Nido thought Avila had airmailed the ball into the stands (a very Cub-like thing to do), and he was gonna waltz home. Right when Avila pitches the ball to home plate, you can see Nido’s “Oh shit” reaction.
