I’d love to see it. If they can cut the braking distance another 30 feet it might have a shot. A track is different than a drag race.

It takes 30 feet more to stop than the M3 after the update. I find it far more unbelievable than the Roadster claims. They’ve mastered straight line speed.

I’d imagine the suspension and braking would be more the issue even if we throw the dual motor (over the single) into the mix, but electric batteries are quite heavy (which will impact both suspension and braking.)

I believe these figures far more than I do the notion that the Model 3 will beat an M3 around a track.

The S versions are a lot more fun. The earlier ones are quite analog and simultaneously not a Miata. You can get them cheap, due to the IMS issue, and they make an entertaining engine swap candidate.
