Genuinely silly article that got pretty shredded by nutrition science-y parts of Twitter. Tipton’s statements were taken really far out of context predictably.

Go all frozen vegetables/fruits, swap the water for something like fat free Fair life or Greek yogurt (or coconut/cashew milk if vegetarian) and add a couple extra spices and it might even taste like something. You can still save money and include small amounts of natural sweeteners (sugar or stevia) too. Oats or corn

Where they run into problems is when you can simple chase macronutrients in cheaper, tastier, and even more customizable places.

It isn’t fun... but you get the most benefit out of caffeine if you quit for a while sometimes.

I dunno. I think a fiber, protein, and sugar alcohol (the one from the Haribo Sugar Free Gummy Bears) lollipop might actually work as an appetite suppressant. It might not be the sort of suppressing they want though.

Yeah, fair enough, though these days I’m not even sure they’re so interested in that. More just targeting neighborhoods and eliminating areas from being political forces or economic successes.

A lot of these folks forget that excess protein consumption can end up burned, carb style, too.

It is certainly possible to lose weight on. It simultaneously isn’t superior to all other diets like 99% of its advocates claim.

I’ve never loved Layne Norton’s politics but I still keep up with him on Twitter partially for wrecking nonsense like this.
