I ran this past a couple of Virginia law enforcement officers today and they said they’d never once lifted their hoods. If the cars are overheating they’re supposed to bring them in. They doubted it’d be hitting new vehicles too.

I’m not a golfer and I doubt I’ll ever be but it was clear he loved life. It was also clear he’d been great at golf in spite of his decency and humility about it. I’ll drink some lemonade and sweet tea for him. RIP.

I drifted away from baseball in the mid 90s but hearing a couple of my students (both young Cuban Americans) talk about this guy brought some of the old feeling back. I feel awful for his family and his fans.
