That’s your only criteria for “abuse”?  Letting a child grow into who they are?

There’s chemistry, it’s just not sexual.

I find this to be a disappointingly reductive take on the Carmy/Sid chemistry; they’re both too committed to their work and too smart to fall into the, “Oh, this is a workplace romance!” bit. They already have a partnership, and the restaurant is their baby. They wouldn’t do anything intentionally to harm it.

There’s a nice breakdown and a very plausible hypothesis of Pratt’s motivations close by: https://jezebel.com/is-chris-pratt-a-republican-i-tortured-myself-with-a-d-1845414944  As for “reasonable evidence” he’s a dick; this isn’t a court of law. I am perfectly reasonable in making that assumption based on my own

As someone he’s seen far too many idiots like Pratt toss away a good thing for what they thought was “trading up”...I’m willing to stay on the unadulterated asshole side for a while.

Love the show early on, but looking back now, it pretty much peaked after the theme song.

Adding a character in a tone-deaf inclusion stunt (rather than just adding a trans character who’s actually part of the show) is pretty much on brand for SITC, isn’t it?

Sweet Merciful Crap. That has got to be one of the most embarassing and infuriating things I’ve ever seen. And I’d pay cash money to see the footage of Daddy’s Girl arguing with her attorney.  Has to be a train wreck.

I’m guessing it’s not the first time her lawyer has had to try and shut her up.

You’re against sheltering protesters from police violence because you think it’ll cost votes? You must be a 1950s Democrat.

Maybe not a real cop, but I’ll bet there’s a uniform in his closet.

I had such high hopes for this show, based on the stars, and the names attached to it. It was severely disappointing.

Wouldn’t you rather date someone who...I dunno...loved you?

Not only does he get the girl in the end, he gets to sleep with Lisa Bonet, and gets the reassurance that “the girl” didn’t sleep with anyone else. Self-indulgent bullshit.

Yeah, seriously...enough with the eyeroll already.

Ugh. This is what right-wingers like to think a “progressive SJW movie review” looks like. We’re sliding into Salon territory, here.

Careful you don’t get a splinter, writhing around on that cross all day.

Considering she was packaged, marketed, and hyper-sexualized at an astonishingly early age, it’s not hard to see what she’s rebelling against.

Considering the appetites of the Hallmark Channel demographic, I’m thinking they could do an entire season of just reading mail from mayor Abigail, where we learn that back east, she’s run into a youngish, super-rich widower who needs to learn the meaning of Christmas.

I’m not willing to settle for “almost good enough” just yet.
