You are not alone. It had some really great action scenes, but the rest was mostly macho bullshit or saccharine cliches. Basically exactly how I’ve always felt about the original.

Good point. Yea, Tom Cruise gave up on dramas 20 yrs ago with magnolia, or maybe vanilla sky. It’s been nothing but actions movies with him essentially playing the same character in every one. It’s like he’s trying to continuously prove he is still a blockbuster star, despite his age. Dramas are for old guys, Tom

Yes.  The movie about the 60 year-old man who can fly the end mission from Star Wars a million times better than a bunch of 20 year-olds is definitely not a wish-fulfillment superhero movie.

I figured the first one was just what Lucy looked like at this very moment. In the ground.   Waiting

The original looks like a bronze of Michael Shannon playing a cross-dressing serial killer.

This is outrageous.

How about commemorating all of the hard working real life meth dealers, Albuquerque? How about them?

Man, this is gonna make me shed tears...guaranteed.

If the books never come out then they cant end the same way as the show.

Holy shit, Cartman had a Clyde Frog doll on South Park, I thought it was just some generic made up thing.

Now playing

For old fogies who can remember this, like myself, the scariest episode(s) of Sesame Street were from 1970, when Mississippi’s PBS station committee banned the show from the state network’s inaugural broadcasts period because the show’s integrated cast and neighborhood setting were deemed unsuitable for Mississippi’s

Stop using common sense! It’s funny how AVClub feels it necessary to slam Louis CK for making a movie when they could simply ignore him and not give him free press.

Tell me Bob, what can he do to repent in your opinion? As far as I know he hasn’t slapped it in front of anyone for a while.

I’m pretty sure his behaviors have changed, and I have no idea what “repentance” means. Do you want public flagellation? You’re never really going to know if some famous person’s “views” changed. I focus on them not doing bad shit anymore.

There’s no evidence that his behavior hasn’t changed, is there? He apologized to the women in 2007 and no one has accused him of similar behavior since then. I work with people getting out of prison. Besides recognizing what they did was wrong and not repeating the behavior, what do we expect of people who have done

He’s a professional entertainer, and nobody is obliged to be entertained by him. People will be, which is why he currently has a career. Other people won’t be, which is why articles like this one exist.

I will watch it. I like his art. I also completely agree with everyone who won’t for whatever reason they provide. This blow to his career is justified. But I still like his art.

I imagine his behavior has changed, or we would have heard about it.

There’s no answer to that question. Some people will forgive CK, or at least be willing to give him money. Others won’t. He might have a successful career again or he might not. It’s not as if he’s entitled to one.

CK admitted to, and apologized for, his behavior...”

Juno didn’t seem androgynous at all, the character basically dressed like most girls I knew at the time
