I actually don’t want her to. I love that episode as a completely perfect, almost entirely standalone episode. It’s 38 minutes, so you can go back and throw it on any time like a favorite Simpsons episode. Just incredible.

Bullit should not be remade, there is no actor out there right now as cool as Steve McQueen. Something I always enjoyed about Bullit and similar crime movies is they use “The Organization” in place of mafia or mob. Point Blank and The Organization (duh) also use “The Organization”.

Fun aside but this movie is based loosely on a real person.  An early example of a serial killer who was called the Vampire of Duesseldorf.  The cop who caught him, who is the basis of the main cop in the film, is perhaps the first person to use the phrase serial killer.

There are Conservative politicians who are visibly and explicitly supporting these people - Pierre Polivier, who is using it as a way to attempt to weasel into Conservative leadership has outright stated support. The attempts to break it up have been incredibly half-assed.
