I wish I could understand why I feel so much hostility and loathing for Shia LaBeouf.  Maybe i’ll make a movie about it. 

I really hope they manage to retire Martin Prince in a respectful yet humorous, over the top manner (like Maude Flanders or Frank Grimes).

I actually made the mistake of googling this guy. Words/phrases that came to mind were “poser” “douche-bag” “asshole” “dickhead” “Culture-appropriator” “black wannabe” “guy-who-needs-find-himself-amongst-real-gangstas”, etc...  It’s too bad the snake didn’t go for his face.

Was listening this week to last week’s episode of NPR’s Hidden Brain called Screaming Into the Void and this really reminds me of that.

I’d like a series focused entirely on Mike pre: Better Call Saul.  This character actor deserves to be the central lead character.

I’m loving the return of Angsty Jesse!  I can’t imagine this sucking considering the creds of everyone behind and in the movie.  At worst it will be a nice bookend to Jesse’s story.

I’m in neither camps (and both at the same time kinda) - my problem is that he appears to either not have the insight or the cognitive flexibility to change this shtick.  So it’s either personality or age (or both) - his time has past.  Also, I suspect he would get eaten alive by Trump in the debates.

It’s embarrassing as hell but before the faux outrage washes him away, let’s look at his history of policies for minorities and support for those less fortunate or downtrodden, rather than how he dressed up for Halloween or at stupid events when he was a private citizen.

However, like anyone in a position like Trump’s, he should have a Jiminy Cricket on his shoulder checking spelling, grammar, and content to prevent him from sounding like the dotard he is. Linklater has the patience of a turtle. Impressive but not optimistic - he’s 59 years old. He better hurry if this is going to be his magnum opus and I hope has has no family history of presenile dementia.
