It would make shareholders angry... thats it. Theres nothing wrong with taking a year off from a new release, just release some new maps and weapons, toss in an event here or there and gamers are happy with the last COD game. Going yearly just means less quality. Hell they released 2 COD games in the same year…

Aren’t people starting to get tired of Madden too? I mean I understand that you can only do so much to innovate football but then you look at the Show and it’s been consistently good for years

I think a bigger part of it is just that a large portion of the CoD fanbase has made Warzone their primary CoD game that they play, rather than the multiplayer portions of the mainline games.

CoD: Madden/FIFA.

Spprts games have the most marginally upgrades to them, yearly releases are no fucking problem.

Madden and FIFA can at least thinly justify yearly entries. CoD what roster are they updating? The slurs used by middle schoolers?

I’d argue the public expects and demands it because of the fact that Activision wanted to squeeze as much money out of gamers as they can.

All the COD games are lost across the board with cheaters. You cannot play in a lobby without several people cheating. Activision allows streamers to publicly cheat and do nothing about it. Do not waste your money. All COD games are overrun with cheaters.

I was at the convention. Masks and proof of vaccine were very strictly enforced. To the point where someone who had their toddler with them was denied entry, due to the child being ineligible for vaccination. 

All attendees (and certainly all staff) were required to show proof of vaccination, so presumably she was.
