god tier game

I still want a sequel.

Fuck yes! Billy Hatcher is the perfect Sunday morning game! Amazing soundtrack!

I’d also totally take Skies of Arkadia Legends...

I said the same thing about XII, and well, XII is on it’s way. I’m just saying- there’s hope...

I bought the re-release of 9 on PSN, and it was the slowest, garbage-iest thing I’ve played in a while. How does first party emulation suck so much more than 3rd party stuff...

Kain repeatedly tries to steal Cecil’s girlfriend (figuratively and literally). Not cool, bro.

Same here. I LOOOOVE FF9

Hell, we still haven’t gotten a proper remaster of 6. After seeing all the classic FFs redone for the DS I was pretty pumped for them to get to 6... but they pulled the breaks on that and just released the awful-looking IOS version.

We don’t have enough information to say any of that. It could very well still be a $60 game or it might not, we don’t know. Why jump into such a brash conclusion before we get more info? Why not just wait and see? If it’s too expensive then we simply speak with our wallets and not buy it.

Nowadays gamers assume the absolute worst of everything. Chances are it could still very much be a $60 dollar title spread into a few episodes. And yeah, FF7's story is not a masterpiece, it could definitely use some improvements.

Yeah, I agree. As I get older I have less patience for JRPGS. They used to be my favorite genre and while I can still play my favorite franchises (FF,DQ,etc.), I noticed I have a harder time getting into newer ones. Especially ones that come up with way too many terms to explain their world and logic.

Ewwww lol

Glad to hear I’m not crazy. It had everything I would have normally enjoyed from a JRPG, yet I couldn’t get into it.

V was the last ‘old style’ before the shift. Even VI was full of machines and more modern in a Victorian style. Nine was good. I do feel that Sakaguchi wanted it to be more though. So many of the characters in that game seemed as though they were meant to have specific sidequests that provided backstory that simply

Same, after absolutely hating FF13, I expected this one to be awful too. Yet I been pleasantly surprised by it.

I can’t for the life of me get into Bravely Default. It has all the makings of a good traditional FF, yet I played the first game for like 15 hours and didn’t enjoy it at all. Weird thing is, I can’t explain why I don’t like it.

Man, could you fucking imagine? It’d be amazing.

Meanwhile, this is honestly my favorite of the series by far in...god, years. Which surprised me, as I was initially pretty dubious. Still nowhere near how great the old games were (6 and 9 will always be my favorites), but they made a admirable attempt at doing an open world game and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.

Hey Sony, do you remember that you have a mobile device called “Vita”?
