I sorta understand the Bronco II hate, but I’ve revised how I feel about them since seeing this one lovingly displayed at a combo museum / storage facility in Düsseldorf called the Classic Remise collection. More pics at my link:

Yeah - that XKE coupe take needs to be reevaluated.  Normally I say looks are subjective, but here you’re just objectively incorrect.

Re: the E-Type coupe, it’s ok to admit when you’re wrong.

I didn’t get the audio, but I would’ve been the clown who said “Hey asshole. You forgot your fuckin’ coat.”

At least he’s good on his word.

That’s the wrong approach to this problem in this day and age. He should have taken out the dealership owner as he was leaving a dealer conference.

These Broncos are uncomfortable, they ride and drive like ass, and if you lift it at all that gets 100x worse.

CP by at least 50%.

There is a big red flag in the ad. This is showing in the L.A. Craigslist and on the very last line it states the truck is in Pleasanton (East Bay) ready to ship. Odds are this is a fake.

Well, the ad says $15k, and I think that’s within negotiating distance of NP. I’d haggle over the missing stereo and spare, but I think we could reach an agreement.

When all else fails, insurance fraud is the answer.

Maybe he heard the Mcrib was back

Job 2 is cut your beard off. You want to have as much camouflage on your face as possible for any surveillance cameras. The less you look like you, the better.

Pristine ones are 6 figures! Here is an extreme example. There’s also a handful at Enthusiast Auto Group going for $100k+:

I agree. This car is clean and presented well. I’d trust this car over one that hasn’t been driven. For those critical of the receipts: You’d be critical if it didn’t include receipts, so how many is the right number?

Your modern Camry has 395HP, a 6 speed manual, and performance suspension??? Please send me a link you to your dealer!

E39 M5s bottomed out about 8-9 years ago. I remember examples like this selling in the $10-15k range back then. They’ve now transitioned from “used car” to “classic car” in valuation, and condition is paramount. Really nice examples are now $40k+.

Assuming the maintenance was all performed by a good mechanic, this could be a nice price from me, although I would immediately remove the trunk subwoofers. I have a 2002 M5 with about 130K miles and would not hesitate to own one of these higher-mileage E39s so long as they have been well maintained. This car appears

That’s true, but anyone who is seriously looking to get into an E39 M5 is aware of this already. That’s also why these aren’t more expensive - nice ones command a huge premium over this, but the driver-quality ones are held back by perceived reliability.

NP unless a thorough PPI reveals any major issues. Especially NP if the rod bearing were done preventively. A history of oil analysis would give context as to the remaining life on the bearings. The E39 M5 seems to be at the bottom of the depreciation curve.

And more often than not, it’s the Chinese. Their fishing fleets invade other countries’ home waters because they’ve overfished their own territorial waters, and more often than not, they’re accompanied by their naval militia in “civilian” vessels with hardened hulls or their armed coast guard cutters that harass and
