I was a mobile horse vet for years. There was an emergency at a local show site with an out of state horse so they called me to attend. I was 2 hours away and suggested calling someone closer, but they insisted I come ASAP. I received no fewer than six calls during that time by four different people who were shocked I

““I appreciate the fact that it’s drawing attention to the fact that we’d like people to slow down and not be on their phones”

Not in Colorado but on my street there is a stop sign that is always ignored, one day while walking the dogs in a ravine I saw a broken traffic sign that indicated ‘camera monitored intersection’ so being a lawful kinda guy I dragged it out and left it for the traffic department. Oops I meant I took the sign home and

GTO or S197 Mustang.  Both are comfortable coupes with a characterful engine making all the right noises.

I have no idea what this is worth, so I didn’t vote. But goddamn, this thing is cooler than the other side of the pillow. I’m not a truck person, and I want it.

And there’s one of those angry morons in the grey now!

XL does come regular cab 4x4 but only 6 or 8 bed. Auto only, no manual anywhere in the lineup. No sliding rear window of any kind available. The folding center seat is sort of benchy, but less cool. Close-ish, but no cigar.

I’m with you. I generally hate every SWFL truck owner with their modified rigs, but then a few weeks ago I saw this and my heart skipped a beat. I think this is the perfect modern Ford truck:

Those Alfas are wonderful (if you fit!), but I looked at bunch, and the rust issues were generally epic. Before buying, that’s a car that you definitely put up on a rack and go over with a fine-tooth comb.

Pontiac GTO. Underrated sports car that was let down by its looks not effectively telegraphing the performance. I dig the looks, BTW. Mechanically, parts availability should be just fine, as long as you don’t crash it and need body panels. The ones in your price range are probably gonna be rough around the edges, but

NP, for 80's nostalgia collectors, and for also being a very functional vehicle among collectibles.

It’s a period piece, truly, but at least it’s one you can take to Home Depot and haul your furniture in, as opposed to “time capsule” 80s cars that are often far less usable as vehicles.

God how I’d love a standard cab, manual, bench seat, 4x4 pickup with an operable full rear glass. I don’t care about the stickers but this checks so many boxes for me just in fun/utility. I haven’t bought a used vehicle in a long time so no idea about the price, but if Ford offered this configuration today (with the

The late 80s/early 90s trucks have been making a big comeback with the youths. They are cool with the hipster GenZ crowd who didn’t grow up with many around (as a Millenial in the suburbs I didn’t even see many around - those were work trucks not commuter cars). Of course a big part of the popularity is that they are

Lowering an already modified luxobarge like this is an automatic ND. God knows how it’s been driven.

Dirty, fogged headlights, and insane 7-series repair costs made even more costly with the Alpina additions. Haaaaaaard pass.

I won’t buy any vehicle where the lazy ass owner can’t go to autozone and buy a $30 headlight restore kit and take an hour out of his day to fix them.

ND at any price. This stands out as one of the few cars Hoovie couldn’t successfully save, no matter how much money he threw at it. These Alpinas are cool as can be, but they have a relatively short expected lifespan.

By the time I got there even their breakroom was ransacked, so I didn’t even get a Hertz donut.

The most surprising part about all of this is that Hertz didn’t try to immediately arrest all of the customers.

The ad is gone, so it was NP for someone.
