Could you imagine if a Democrat joked about making it harder for conservatives to vote? No amount of “it was just a joke” would save them from the Faux News 24/7 outrage machine. The GOP would be screaming for immediate resignation or impeachment.

They’re by and large either fully complicit or unfathomably stupid, that’s why.

Of course, you realize how many stupid things Trump has decided are issues of “national security”, don’t you? I’m not sure that bar is high enough anymore.
Getting a vote count right in a very very close race is anti-Democratic - Rafi Schartz, Senior Splinter Writer
Apparently it means if the number of replies to a tweet outnumbers the amount of likes and retweets, the tweet is bad.
It’s very amusing to see Splinter shit all over Florida for being terrible at democracy when Splinter has got to the point where only about 10 commenters are left out of the greys.
“I can’t help but feel like a few more days of this back-and-forth might send me over the edge.”
Honestly, who gives a shit if she lied. Like... I don’t think she did. But... that’s not the point, is it? These people snooping on her bank account and fashion choices...
I’ll gladly “suffer” through a few more days of this tiring news story to make sure every vote gets counted. It’s unlikely to change the result, but with the irregularities we’ve seen it’s worthwhile to spend a few measly days to make sure the democratically elected individual is actually the one who received the most…
you need them to function properly at your job without being seen like you have no respect for the profession

Many of AOCs constituents are going to be directly by Amazons 2 HQ being moved to Long Island City. So when another, more powerful, politician says what AOC wants to say then yeah, why not give the tweet a signal boost for her followers.
Uh... Isn’t Sen. Gillibrand correct here?
Fully agree. Amazing how Republicans wear the mantle of being the party for business, but states where they are the majority have virtually no economy, and usually a pretty bad drug problem. (i.e. New Hampshire, West Virginia, Ohio.) If they were always in charge, the nation’s economy would resemble Mississippi.
Thank you for saying it.
And why is California home to so many multi-billion dollar industries?
The difference is that everyone knows the game in CA and aren’t throwing hissy fits and lawsuits around to stop the county election officials from doing their job. California allows same day registration and mail in ballots postmarked by election day, so it takes a while for the vote to be certified and we don’t have…
