There are just things I don’t always want done, like lying in bed and I get hot, turn on the fan, but I don’t always want the fan on when in bed.

But here’s one, and I think I need to see if the technology has progressed enough in the past few years. In my living room, you turn on the TV, it turns on the ceiling fan

Exactly! I don’t want a remote control home. I want a Smart home. If you aren’t automating it, it’s not worth it.

That said, I still do use remote control functionality from time to time for things that I don’t feel are something you can automate (yet).

They even have other GOP politicians spouting this crap even though they likely know it’s not true. But, lie lie lie. You only have to say a lie, what? 7 times before people start accepting it as truth?

What “she did” was have emails that when sent were not classified and were classified later.

At the time of her using a personal emails server, it was also not illegal to do so. Many others, such at Colin Powel also used private email servers, but for some reason that was not a big deal.

How about the Trump kids also

Really? Not all 18...he’s slacking

Yeah I mean, she had classified emails that were classified after the fact. Donny boy just probably flat out took classified documents because he feels he’s above the law (which up to this point it seems he has been)

Come on, we know he prefers McDonalds

You may have just ruined Warehouse 13 for me.

Yeah, I don’t get this. I have zero interest in ESPN+, but the only way to get Disney and Hulu ad free is to get ESPN+.  Luckily my Amex gives me $7 cash back every month for the Disney bundle. I don’t know how that will be affected with these new ad free ones. I don’t want to lose my $7/month and have to watch ads.

With all due respect, those in power in today’s politics are for the most part in the pockets of those with the most money. We gave up all semblance of Democracy when we claimed that Corporations have “personhood” and therefore should be able to contribute and fund campaigns.

I would love to see him held accountable.

Oh now....he violated that law..... he grabbed that law by the pussy and violated the crap out of it! and he’s a star, and they love that, so they just let him do it.

But didn’t he offer to buy it without due diligence? I don’t care if Twitter is lying and refusing to give him information. He agreed to buy them essentially “as-is” without the dependency of them proving their claims on anything, much less bots.

I don’t see him every having any accountability. He already blatantly broke the rules when he bought the 9% without notifying the public after going over 5%. He wasn’t held to the fire then, I don’t see it happening now or anytime. He is “too rich” to be held accountable.

Many of those guns would for the underage would likely be owned by the parents and making those parent have a bit more responsibility for the actions of those guns might make them think a lot harder about securing it (purely a guess of mine. In some areas there may already be laws around this). We recently had a

Yes, but we have other people called “ITEDS” (Directors of IT Engagement) who are meant to bridge the gap between IT and the business (non-IT) side. However they just add a lot of confusion and obfuscation of the requirements.

To me, the more people between the ones using the work and those doing the work the more it’s

I agree that it doesn’t work for everyone. I’m just saying if my options were 4x10 or 5x8, I woud always chose the former for me personally. I also tend to give up lunches (or work while eating) so it’s really only a 10 hour day for me.

I would prefer 4x8, but I just don’t see that happening in a lot of places in the

Sorry. Got COVID. It sucked.

Note that I’m not saying that stand-ups are bad and non-productive, but if you only work 4 days missing the standup on the 5th day doesn’t mean you lost that time as “productive”.

Some of us proponents of 4 day work weeks are good with 4x10 instead of 4x8.

I would easily do 4x10 over 5x8 anyway. I would just start 2 hours earlier (easy to say as a fully time remote employee. No commute).
