I imagine there are people who have legitimate, intelligent conservative republican viewpoints and can express them and convey their politics eloquently in a way that even if you disagree with them you can respect them as mature human beings whose thoughts are driven by something other than fear and hate.

The statement was obviously referring to something a little more serious which is the very first thing every single person had going through their minds when they clicked on the article but weren’t sure about the laws regarding it in NY/NJ whatever.
