I don’t get the hate/confusion over the tone of this show. It’s a space workplace comedy about how how stupid and incompetent most people are in current society and how quickly everything falls apart in a crisis. It’s almost like satire on our current time where people are inexplicably hoarding/fighting over toilet…

Aren’t we just a collection of memories which influence our choices ? If memories can be transferred to a new body I fail to see what the distinction is between old me and new me. Why is it so hard for so many people to understand this show ?

Well, to each their own. In my humble opinion ‘Man of Steel’ is one of the best superhero adaptations yet and ‘Iron Man 3' is absolutely nonsensical garbage.

One post saying The Orville is out there for people who wish to enjoy slightly dirty classic trek is fine, 50 posts berating that person for doing so is annoying.

Neither of them can do a convincing Indian accent though.
