I didn’t claim to speak for you. I’m just trying to help others understand the perspective of those who were disappointed.

The thing that gets a lot of people, including me, excited about new Smash games is the prospect of new characters. If I’m being honest, playing as every character the series has ever had is not an exciting idea to me. I can go back and play melee, brawl, or smash 4 with relative ease to do that right now. I would

Lol no that’s something they added. You keep your armor for good in BotW, it’s just the weapons and shields that break.

Official page says “dear friend,” but that’s Google translated from Japanese.

I second this comment. Every part of it.

On top of all of that it inflicts thunderblight, which makes those disgustingly hard hitting attacks stun you most of the time. And a stun is basically a 100% guaranteed death. That thing is evil.

You shut your mouth. Don’t utter its name.

Totally agree. The desert dungeons are particularly fantastic. There’s a good game in there buried under a huge pile of bullshit, it’s just not worth it to try and dig it out.

I fail to see how the repetitive design had anything to do with the motion controls. Did the motion controls make you return to the same environments three freaking times? Were they the source of the abysmal stealth sections? How about the boring, monotonous boss fight that you have to do four times? If you want to

The Wii at least had the excuse of motion controls being its main draw. So forcing their use made some degree of sense. The Switch’s most marketed and beloved feature is its portability. Why would you sacrifice that for literally anything.

...really? Do they not run like that in the manga? I have watched/read essentially zero Naruto but it seems like that would cause some major differences berween the visuals of the manga and the anime.

If you want to help me see things from your perspective you might consider elaborating.

Can you really call this “hurtful and offensive”? I think most people agree that shaming hate speech is a good practice, but the problem that some of us (myself included) have is how broad the term “hate speech” has become. This is a dumb, overused joke making fun of people that are oversensitive about this topic.

Hahaha you just made my day sir.

It’s possible the mindset is that there is already a huge amount of content for each event... but I agree it’s disappointing. These events can sometimes be enough to drag me back into the game, but I’ll definitely pass on this one.

Totally disagree. That ending is one of submission, while the true ending is one of defiance. Why would the Knight return to Hallownest after abandoning it just to bend to its original foolish will? Sure, the Knight accomplishes its purpose, but its purpose is fundamentally horrifying.

Well, semi-optional. The ending you get without it is extremely dissatisfying. And his issue appears to be that there isn’t that level of platform challenge anywhere else in the game. And he’s right. The game doesn’t slowly build up to the White Palace, it suddenly ramps up the difficulty right at the end. So the

Right there with you. Did not expect the game to turn into Super Meat Boy of all things right at the end. The true ending is so damn good though, it’s a shame that it’s locked behind such a ridiculous sequence.

If they think that you can’t make shooting giant, tunneling worms into a fun experience, then they obviously haven’t played Borderlands 2.

I was gonna type “reeeaaaach,” but I ended up laughing instead. I suppose that means you win.
