A game should never be released in the state Redfall was in. As bad as the problems in Pokemon Scarlet / violet were, at least the main features of the game did work.

The best way to use search engines for game questions is to put “reddit” at the end of any query. The place is great for accurate information about video games.

They increased the price and reduced the usefulness of the remote raid passes just because they felt like it. One of the biggest issues is that this keeps disabled people and those who live in rural areas from playing. Niantic refuses to acknowledge any of this when asked.

Thats a matter for the police, not private security. No amount of stolen stuff gives private security the right to enter your home.

You could start playing RIFTS. Its owned by a small, insane and unreliable company thats not rich enough to afford being monumentally stupid.

Never let people like this into your home. They don’t have any real power. Don’t let police into your home either. They also don’t have any real power, without a warrant. And if they have a warrant they’ll come in whether you want them to or not.

The worst thing Niantic did during all of this was not talk to players and address our concerns. Nothing annoys players more than devs ignoring them. It kills games. Or at the very best leaves it a husk of what it could have been.

I remember playing Morrowind and finding out you could use being naked to get around people refusing to talk to you. It would stop them from using their “only option is “Goodbye” dialogue.

These are not microtransactions. These are people paying significant amounts of money to buy things in a game that give them an advantage.  part of the strategy to get these sorts of things accepted more is to use terms that meant one thing to mean a lot of things.

I agree with Seymour Flux though. My first time through FFX I just didn’t have what I needed to beat him and getting them would take forever. I just gave up on the game completely right then. it was only some time later after I learned the mechanics more that I started a new game, and absolutely destroyed him.
