The extreme monetization of all aspects of diablo immortal’s gameplay is what makes it different. its honestly disgusting. I know one streamer spent $6000 and didn’t get a single 5 star legendary gem from it. There are videos going over all this on youtube. The one from JoshStrifeHayes was my favorite.

Bethesda’s been super quiet lately. Aside from the date of starfield being pushed back they haven’t said a thing in... a good while now. Which is either a very good thing or a very bad thing. and I have no idea which it will be.

Trying to get Japanese game companies to acknowledge anything you do is a waste of time. They will maliciously ignore you. For example:

One of the big reasons Bethesda was able to put out janky games and get away with it is something that fallout 76 didn’t have: Us. The community that makes mods and patches and fixes the issues caused by that development.

I know places that are open at midnight because they know people will be there to buy the games. Not parties, just.. open at midnight on the release day of a big game. And if not, or if I can’t make it there, no big deal.
