I still have my original, Blue 3DS. But I don’t play it. Something happened to the R button at some point that made it nearly impossible to use. In order to register pressing it once takes at least 10 seconds of rapid pressing.

Earthbound. I hate ROMs so this is the first chance ive had in forever to play it. was just released a couple days ago on the New 3DS virtual console. Oddly, its more expensive then every other game on there. Not sure whats up with that.

Im actually getting quite tired of square enix attempting to make RPGs like they were in the 90s. Because they suck at it and tend to almost always mess up something important.

This sstory makes me feel... kinda stupid. I grew up with the NES, and always loved RPGs. But one I could never beat was the original final fantasy. Everything was just so agonizingly slow. I couldnt deal with it. I’d tried to so many times over the years.

This isn’t my story, but its a great example of how... interesting Fallout 2 can be.

No, people give Square Enix crap for re-releasing games that no one who works at square enix actually made. Very few people who were involved in the first six final fantasy games actually still work at Square Enix.

Considering it was Gameboy Color, that is actually a really good remake. I mean, its good they didnt release it because it’s gameboy color, but that was probably the best possible remake they could’ve done for that system.

I wish my last DM had read this. In the middle of a game, he suddenly started requiring dice rolls for my lightning staff to hit. I should make clear that in the published rules, in the main campaign/setting book, it explicitly says that the staff will hit without dice rolls.

The rep did say that they tried but couldnt bring it bacak for some reason. This is easily verified, because if they truly are going to correct it, then this situation will never happen again.
