You’re right. Kissinger’s ability to diss someone who is unfortunately relevant in a way we find momentarily entertaining as we all prepare for various dystopian fictions to manifest into our current reality also translates to complete forgiveness and unanimous approval for Henry Kissinger.

Or are we just saying ‘even

Nice straw man: not what I said at all.

But that doesn’t mean that Bernie has to roll out his support for the guy, and dismiss the importance of this issue.

This kills me EVERY time. Specifically because Bernie himself had a campaign run by white men at the top, with white men overall getting paid far better than any women or POC who worked for him. Tell me, Bernie, how can income equality solve racism and sexism if even you won’t hire women and POCs in high ranking

She won more votes than many recent presidents. She only lost because of poorly distributed ballots based on an archaic system that favours rural voters over urban (i.e. the majority). And I’m not even mentioning the possibility of Russian interference and/or rigging on behalf of Trump.

Apparently throwing reproductive rights under the bus is a-ok for Bernie when it suits his agenda. But Jon Ossoff, a young, bright Dem in a ruby red district that, if he were to win, could potentially have seismic ramifications is a bridge too far for Bernie to get behind. All because Ossoff is running in an affluent

Well, this is a guy who thinks that solving economic inequality will solve racism and not, you know, the other way around. So if women just have all the monies, maybe we will never need abortions?

fucking right though

Hot take: Why are you wasting your time on this site instead of saving Syrian children or, working with the homeless wherever you live, right this very second?

It’s a CLASSIC redpill-type attempt at discrediting Western feminism. The idea is essentially: “you bitches need to shut up about equal pay and sexual harassment and other stuff that affects females in the U.S. because women in Saudi Arabia can’t drive! REAL feminism is those hot chicks shooting at ISIS with big guns!”

I’m no apologetic for the oppression of women by religion, but the arab world (which this magazine caters to, not just Saudi Arabia) has some diversity in terms of what women are allowed to do. Your argument assumes that covering from head to toe is required of all women who might be interested in reading this

I’m reading a website filled with celebrity gossip and sex and fashion in a country where the president is a rapist. It’s not clear where you’re writing from, but it’s pretty likely that it’s a lousy place to be a woman as well. Middle Eastern women are capable of navigating these choices themselves, just as we are.

But what those women wear behind closed doors in the company of other women would blow your fucking mind if you think their public garb is representative of their whole wardrobe.

But they can and do wear those fashions. Not in all circumstances, but they’re still consumers of almost everything you’d see advertised.

Fashion mags are glorified catalogs. And Saudi is a huge luxury goods market.

I don’t even know much about Arab culture or fashion, but I know that I have seen plenty of muslim women decked out head to toe in what are clearly very nice fabrics, carrying $20,000 purses.
