Honestly, I find that some of the most bigoted and hypocritical Christians tend to be 'newer' ones that were hellions earlier in life. I think that once they've latched onto Christianity they feel like they have to make up for lost time or something by being extreme in all they're views.

Well, new converts and especially new born-again Christians can be REALLY intense about their beliefs. I think it has to do with needing to belong and be a good member of whatever religion a person has found - which can be a really important and powerful experience.

You know what I thought off when I read that quote? Rachel Dolezal.

Asking “child prostitute” to be changed to “prostituted child” is fairly gender neutral.

No one is saying that boys aren’t exploited. The writer of the petition is female, so she was speaking to her own experiences, and asking for the elimination of a gender neutral term.

People should stop using the term “child porn” for the same reasons. They are films and photographs of rapes
