Actually, while you may be right about this individual, it’s more likely that he donated than you did. Republicans and ‘conservatives’ have long, and by a significant degree greater, out-donated Democrats and so-called ‘liberals’.

Real talk tho Red Cross is a shitty charity to donate to. They are extremely shady with handling donation funds and have done some pretty shitty things before.
Could always donate blood instead of money. That’s a pretty solid way to contribute without risk of sketchy accounting.
The only charity the Red Cross cares about is themselves. Specially the American Red Cross.
If you friend’s father was actually rescued from Nazis by the Red Cross, they violated their neutrality, and if they did it for him, they will do it again. Maybe game developers should put red crosses on the things that the player should shoot, just so they know not to trust the Red Cross.
this seems counter productive, the more you see the symbol used in relationship to health the better the brand recognition gets. to the point where its ubiquitous like mickey mouse. This is what you want, especially when you’re dealing with a crisis in some third world country and there’s a language barrier
They aren’t a charity if you knew how much money to keep for themselves, and how much they actually disperse to people in need.
Guess which “charity” I won’t be supporting anymore.
There’s a certain point at which a logo becomes so ubiquitous, it can no longer be held under IP rights.
My yearly 15k gal in-ground pool: $100 - chemicals, $100 pump parts (avg), $200 electricity (no heater), $50 extra insurance, so $450 / year minimum, and then every 20 or so years you may resurface it $7000?, and it could leak and need major work done which insurance may cover.
Pools are like boats. You don’t want one. You want a close friend that has one.
