Behind the scenes there’s a lot more going on than pressing left/right/ok. I read somewhere else they had to do something clever with the caching of the stream. The different apps probably fetch different amounts ahead of time and store in the cache differently.

You can let it run without making a selection, it just chooses the default option then goes back and tries a different one.

Anyone else find it odd the original ruling came out in the last few days of open registration then followed by this quiet stay? If I was conspiracy minded I might suggest the timing was specifically to disrupt the last few days of registration which are typically the busiest.
