I somehow feel we won't get much regulation passed on anything for a while. It would also be nice to wave a wand and eliminate street fentanyl, but if we had magic wants then it would probably be better used on chronic pain first.

That's the catch for sure. Better prescribing practices would help a ton. I have a friend who is an advocate for opiates to treat some chronic pain, if only there was a safer way to manipulate the body that was just as effective.

We lost Carrie Fisher to heart disease, Prince to Fentanyl, and Michelle McNamara to a combo of both. So two things: Fentanyl needs to stop existing, and women need to be more aware of cardiovascular disease, which is still the number one killer of women in the States.
