now I have to pee.

This.  Sous vide is magic.

If you like your steak a little more done, add a minute or so to the cook time. If you like it closer to well done, add another minute.you are a terrible person and need to be impeached.

Do you accept Venmo?

The only scooter I ever want to ride:

Also, reality itself.

ENGAGE WITH ZORP

If I could fit in a Miata, I might consider it.  As it is, my GTI is the best car I’ve ever owned bar none.  :)

Take a break from tapas after a few days - you’ll find yourself sweating ham and dying for a nice Thai curry or something.  Give in to that.

Take the train to Figueres and see Dali’s museum.  Note: unless you can find a cab, the museum is about a mile hike from the train station and the town of Figueres is a dirty hole.  Still, the museum is very, very cool.

Agree with a lot of this. One thing to keep in mind as an American - if you want to rent a car or a scooter or whatever, you need an international driving permit. Those are easy to get - AAA will sell you one. Some rental places won’t require you to have it, but if you get pulled over, the cops will take you to jail

Agreed - commuting what I primarily use my Vespa for, so that makes sense.  I just don’t have $20,000 to shell out on anything right now.  Once I’ve paid off the Vespa and my GTI, I’ll look into it.

That dog is mostly made of nose.  dawwww

We have a dog that we think is a grey/lab mix, and she’s the sweetest ever. Her name is Eleanor Bonesevelt. Here she is with our docker spaniel Franklin Delano Bonesevelt:

Wow. I watched the first several seasons of this before going “ok, I know what this show is, I’m going to watch something else.”  Maybe this ep should bring me back to it.  I’ll give it a watch.  Thanks!

I ride a Vespa GTS 300 currently.  I’m thinking about replacing it with a Zero in a few years, but they’re a little steep at the moment.

I assume these electric bikes have CVT transmissions?  That...is probably a dumb question, but I assume it’s not possible to shift an electric transmission?  I honestly have no idea.

What about an older GTI with an auto?  Still a fun car.  Also, I’m seeing some 2007 Rabbits in your price range.  I had one of those for years and adored it.  Cargo space is Tardis-like, and they’re fun to drive.

You must live in Dallas. Those of us who travel THROUGH DFW have a very, very different experience.
