MLS might already backpedaling on that. The new “soccer for all” month sounds an awful like “all lives matter” for teams that already had Pride days. Plus, it came after getting a deal with Chick-fil-a (every corporation donates to homophobes but they’re brand-name homophobia).

I never understood the need to keep up appearances when you have a job that does all the appearances for you. Who cares what car you drive? You’re licensed to pilot a motherfucking JET. Keep your cash and come up with some great retorts for the ribbing that the superficial tech bros and venture cap babies feel they

Is it unique and cool in some way? Sure. Is it remotely reasonable to consider as a reliable, relatively affordable year-round daily driver? Not a chance.

If he just wants a cool hobby car to start conversation and drive to the airport once in a while, great, but that’s not at all what he asked for.

The answer is always Volvo. Stately, luxurious, fast, reliable, AWD, well under budget, why wouldn’t you go with a V70R? Also, this is Jalopnik, what did you expect?

I mean, couldn’t *one* of you have given him a reasonable answer?  The only non-troll answer is the Acadia, and he literally said he had no use for an SUV.  I get that there’s a comedy element, but I thought there were supposed to be a few helpful suggestions?

I listen to NPR over the air pretty much all the time. So I guess I am no one.

I have this condition. It’s a common symptom of autism, as in my case. I hope this boy can find a way to cope with his condition and I hope he gets tested for autism.

You aren’t going to want to drive 30 miles with 1.6hp, if the 1200W motor spec isn’t a typo (and I suspect it is given their other performance claims). For reference, a 49CC Honda Metro scooter has 4.4hp, and tops out at about 30mph, a good 8mph FASTER than this.

You guys are the exception to the rule. Nice work, faith restored in humanity.

It’s gonna get T-Boned on it’s first night drive, I guarantee it

This is the most intelligent and true post I’ve read in this entire discussion. Cheers

Incredibly most modern carmakers aren’t even aware how far away you can spot an egg from behind the wheel.

3rd Gear:

As a car, the Aviator looks better and is cheaper. Cheaper being the keyword. Slap some incentives on those Cadillacs and they’ll increase their foot traffic and convert some of those into sales. I guess you hope that people figure out the Aviator is a better product and deserves your attention, not the Cadillac.

Lets see, I hid out from the last recession by going to college and accumulated some (a lot of) student debt, and then I had a hell of a time finding a job afterwards and now I’m working at an entry level gig with entry level pay.

The last recession was a real suckfest all around. Layoffs, foreclosures, general despair everywhere you looked. But at least it taught me the value of saving for a rainy day.

You’re wrong on almost every level. Chick-fil-A is a privately held company and its profits have been used, and almost certainly continue to be used, to support anti-LGBTQ causes. Dan Cathy isn’t just a hired-gun CEO; he and his family own the company.

I have a daughter and a son, and I’m dedicated to raising two feminists, and I’m pretty deliberate about doing my damndest to raise them the same. I can say that my son who is two is so much more wild and energetic than my daughter, and it’s tempting to say well, he’s a boy, when I know logically that they’re just

Yup. A Boymom that I used to know had A million excuses for her sons and their bad behavior. Even after one of them was accused of sexual assault. The claim was credible enough, that their religious congregation threw him out since the assault happened on their property.

Yeah sometimes I've seen people describe their life with #boys and I'm like, that sounds like my kid...on the autism spectrum. Especially some of the sensory stuff (like doing dangerous stunts because of the sensory input). Like ok, I'll be here to talk in a few years when you finally work out a diagnosis.
