If we are going to have multitudes of articles about a deep sea submersible and related items, then surely we can discuss an actual boat as well?

So a fishing trawler isnt a vehicle? Thank you for clarifying that a fucking tube with pvc piping for ballast is DEFINITELY a vehicle and a 50ft fishing trawler isnt.

how are the 400 women and children locked in the bowls of a capsized trawler the greek coast guard likely caused doing again? Who give a fiddlers fuck over the 5 darwin award recipients time of death.

EV’s already make sense from a price perspective.  It’s just that people automatically rule out vehicles like the Leaf and Bolt because they are econoboxes and they don’t actually care just about price anyways.

Uh, what? This smells like bullshit to me.

My Chevy Bolt uses about 29Kwh to drive 100 miles.
I pay .25 per Kw to charge at home. That’s $7.25 for 100 miles.

My gas car gets about 22 mpg combined, for 100 miles that’s 4.5 gallons @ $4/gal = $18 in regular gas for 100 miles.

When I called a Kia dealer for the last time ever, they told me the $2,500 markup they had listed online for the EV6 was actually $15,000. I politely told the salesperson that was dishonest and absurd, and he told me “deal with it, maybe it will go down next year” and hung up on me. I was like, I’ll be damned. All the

oh they are ready to “handle” people paying cash but they just refuse to. Inventory was low enough that if they waited their sucker would come.

I’m reaching way back here, but I actually remember a post in the same vein specifically about Kia dealers not knowing how to sell the Stinger because it was... good. If I’m not mistaken, there was a story about the dealer refusing cash in favor of bad financing.

England’s Ferrari - perfect plan. If there’s anything Clarkson’s taught us it’s that Brits absolutely love anything British.

FWIW, Brosnan spent more than a fair amount of time in BMW’s.

Obviously Lotus - since he famously drove one underwater.

Calling sandwiches ‘sammies’.  Calling extra virgin olive oil ‘EVOO’.  That’s a start, I’ll think of more.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be compensated for the software--of course they should! But they should also have a reasonable return policy since it really costs them nothing to do so. If people want it, they should pay for it. If they don’t they shouldn’t be railroaded into buying it.

If those inflation #’s are right then I’m damn surprised. For whatever reason for 1975 those dollar amounts jumped off the page. Your reverse-idea of a $18k car today, time machined to the mid 70s is what got me thinking initially.  You weren't getting much for comparatively the same dough, no A/C, no power anything,

The people behind the scenes of Ellen’s show aren’t working in bumblefuck with no unionization or human resources. They’re grown ass people that I’m sure have held other positions before they got hired for the Ellen show. If that workplace has become so toxic their first stop should have been HR not fucking twitter.

That is why she doesn’t allow subordinates to look her in the eye, her greatness would blind an ordinary peon.

“He pushed me off his property!

But remembering to wash my hands is hard.

The advice to “Wash your hands often, especially after handling packages” would still apply, no? Grab the box, pour the crackers in a bowl or something, and wash your hands before you eat. As far as we know now, the virus lasts on cardboard for a day so after 24 hours, you should be fine but you can always continue

It really is a thing. Between these issues and people failing to make sure that the headlines are properly aligned, my retinas are slowly being burned out by oncoming morons here in rural somewhere.
