AND WHEN THEY GROW UP WE HAVE TO DATE THEM!

Exactly. #Boymom is the precursor to “Boys will be boys.”

A phrase that drives me crazy is referring to a baby as “my little man.” It’s not a man. It’s a fucking baby. And maybe, if you do a good job parenting, he won’t turn out to be the kind of men we all deal with every day.

My Mom had all girls and “boy moms” used to annoy her so much. They all seemed to assume that being loud, messy, and roughhousing was something only boys did. She would frequently point out that my sisters and I did all of those things (especially the story where my middle sister and I were fighting and fell onto the

That’s gold, Jerry, gold!

And you just know that Republicans will get the vapors over the fact that he said ‘fuck’rather than respond to the actual substance of the answer.

At 71 kWh, Audi’ll have to price this around $40-45k to be competitive on this side of the pond and/or to get away with calling it “entry level.” Unless they mean “entry level for an electric Audi,” but even then if it goes much over $50 it’s gonna be hard to move them since there are better options.

Cars all look kind of cheap until you sit down and think about paying your own money for them.

This is a joke right? A new Audi is not entry level. The Bolt, Niro EV, Kona EV and Leaf are entry level.

The problem really is that no car is “US Made” anymore. It’s a global supply chain for every component of the vehicle, so does it really matter where the final assembly is? You can’t force consumers to buy subpar vehicles just because the profits from go to the C-suite of companies that are located in America.

Because a lot of them are actually built in the US?

Given that US soccer is a non-profit organization that represents the US government in international football

I thought the same thing. I am not sure how leather ever became a luxury option with it being hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. I would take those wool seats over anything they have in our luxury cars. These days, most automakers are trying to pass off vinyl as a premium seating material, but vinyl

If brands/marketing departments are too stupid and lazy to do their due diligence before signing contracts with these faux influencers, that’s on them.  Stupidity and laziness have consequences.

I never saw the appeal of leather for seats. It’s cold in the winter, it’s slippery, and it wears out quickly on things like seat bolsters. But I think it persists because luxury car interiors are a Veblen good -- the more expensive it is the more desirable it is, regardless of whether it’s actually better or not.

Toyota is the only one doing luxury correctly....

To further complicate things, there’s some developers out there who are developing $10-30 games that are better than most of the $60 releases coming out. I paid $15 for Hollow Knight (Switch version, the PC version can often be found cheaper on sale), and I’d rather play that than pretty much any of the games I spent

A game that can charge whatever it wants and still sell 10 million. Once one does it successfully, ALL will do it henceforth. And that’s cool with me. These massive, 20-80 hour games have gotten so affordable that I tend to buy too many and never give them the time they deserve. Let’s adjust.

Back in my day we had a thing called a Dopp Kit, named for its designer Charles Doppelt. It held shaving tackle and other toiletries in a pop-open leather zipper case.

I remember the bad old days of booking plane tickets online, when you’d see a base price, and then all the taxes and fees would be added at the end, after the comparison-shopping phase of the purchasing process. Eventually, someone (kayak?) started including all the mandatory fees in their comparison tool, and
