There’s a lot of ways that it looks like various members of the Trump clan (Don Jr, Kushner, and quite possibly others) broke the law, just using publicly available information. I’m not sure that they’d have been prosecuted except for the broader Russia probe.

It’s also pretty clear that Don Jr. broke the law with the “if it is what you say it is, I love it” email released last year - it was clearly from a foreign national offering something of value to the campaign.

Depends on how you configure. The Civic hatch starts at just over $20k which gets you 24 more ponies and 27 more lb to push you forward with a manual transmission; more expensive models give you a bit more power, but every option is turbo.

You know, what’s sort of funny is seeing the interior I thought “wow, this thing looks way cheaper inside than a new Kia,” even though it’s priced slightly higher.

On top of having done nothing, there’s that really suspect “tour” he got of the cavern with Thai divers. There’s a good chance that there were local resources available to give VIPs tours of the caves without interfering with the rescue mission - but there’s also a good chance that local resources, already strained by

Belgium makes it sound like they were playing wildly creative football, but they weren’t. Their attacks almost universally resulted with a bunch of red shirts in the center of the pitch, surrounded by bleu. If they’d managed to keep someone wide, spread France out a bit, and had a bit more creativity, they might have

That’s amazing.

On top of everything else, who chose the lens on that first photo?

To be fair, that one’s apparently Kia’s fault, since that’s what they call it.

I had a 1999 Saturn SL1 for which I paid 11 grand. Never gave me a hint of trouble.

I mean, it’s a residential street.  I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to cross it, since I think the parent was right there with them.

I just assume a white Ford Explorer is police until proven otherwise. I actually did a double take today when I passed one that wasn’t, and I actually noticed the wheels first before looking up and seeing that it didn’t have police markings on the side.

Yeah, but how many out of town guests would exit the hotel and accidentally hail a police car when they were looking for a cab?

These days in Chicago, I just assume a white or black Ford Explorer is a cop car until proven otherwise.  Normal police cars are white, but detectives or the “semi-marked” cars are black.

When I was in high school, my friend’s dad always had an old-ish, beat up white Ford Crown Vic with a roof rack for shorter road trips - he’d even put some red/white duct tape on the rack’s crossbars. Going down the highway, everyone assumed it was a cop car, and would slow down and give him a wide berth.

It’s really hard to overstate how important the Detroit-Windsor border crossing is to Canada’s economy and the US auto industry. My dad was a diplomat, and when we were posted to Canada before/after 9/11, he said the first question the ambassador would ask at every staff meeting was “how’s traffic at the border?”

Came here to say something along those lines. On my way home yesterday, I saw a UPS truck turning onto a side street fast enough that I was half expecting the thing to roll over, just as two girls on frickin’ trikes with ribbons on the handlebars were making their way through the intersection.

They really do all look the same. That’s not racist, it’s because they all eat the same red-meat based diets and get the same cuts of suits to hide their paunch.

My biggest problem with PKs is that I’ve very frequently had a nagging feeling that if they’d just kept on playing OTs, there’d have been a different winner. They’re a weighted coin toss (with going first having a huge advantage), while in many games, one team had consistently better possession and chances while the
