More like they did it because they’re an asshole. Tricking someone to look at a Rick Roll video is “for the lulz”, giving someone $2500 and then sayin nevermind and taking it back is a bullshit move that should get that user permabanned, especially since they’ve done this multiple times, apparently.

It’s unclear why they refunded?  I think I can clear this up.  They did it... for the lulz.

The fuck are you talking about Wet Hot American Summer doesn’t belong here? That movie is fucking amazing and absolutely full of deep belly laughs.

Walk Hard doesn’t make this list?  Wrong list maker died.

It’s not pedantic. Pedantic would be saying that it is in fact most because it’s more than half (and explaining pedantry is also not pedantic).

Remember to jump on Toad to get above the throne room’s door to get the only missable frog coin.

It’s literally an HD version of the original game’s art.  I love it.

It’ll take some getting used to. But I think I’m digging’ it. Besides, every time I watched Solar Opposites, I heard Rick. Maybe it’s good they are separated. Now, the question is, who will do Rick on Rick & Morty? A completely new voice, or an imitator of Roiland’s voice? I’m guessing the former.

Samantha Lewes catching strays 35 years later even though she’s been dead since 2002? Brutal.

This almost has to be incel behavior.

The boys:

Can you imagine - this is a whole article.  4 paragraphs to say he read a sign and said “I’m good, I’m hanging with my boys”... and someone thinks this is newsworthy

Sure, blame the dealers, but also blame the person willing to pay over MSRP.

I mean, if that were true, they’d ask for a reasonable rate for using the API, that reflected the cost of those requests, not the exaggerated sums they appear to be asking the developers of popular reddit reader apps like Apollo for.

The bandwidth itself is relatively cheap. At an average 1kb payload per request, Apollo’s 7 billion monthly requests add up to about $500 on AWS (where, as far as I know, Reddit is hosted). The compute costs of retrieving and assembling the request data are much harder to estimate but they’re going to be the bigger

Yup. Pete pretty much said what I would’ve said to Daphna.

Fuck PETA. Always and forever.

“If Pete had done his research, he would know that there’s no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, that at least a quarter of dogs in shelters are purebreds, and that Petfinder has listings for homeless dogs of every breed under the sun, including the one he purchased.”

peta is a terrible organization that turns off most people to the idea of animal rights and shouldn’t be calling out individuals just buying a pet. bother farming  corporations and big box pet stores that still sell animals.

As a Scream-head, I find the beauty of the series is in how it’s basically the same movie every time, with incremental differences. Not to get too hoity-toity, but it lends itself to the whole meta theme.
