Couple of friends in AZ who are passably into soccer = the entire country is passably into soccer
Makes sense.

I’ve always liked the EPL, but I’ve become a bigger fan because of NBC’s coverage. Streaming an interesting match or two early Sat/Sun mornings and enjoying a cup of coffee and breakfast is amazing.
I guess its back to being a casual fan...
F Nancy... I feel like there could be a full rant on this topic alone. If its a independent place I’m a bit more patient with a unique menu. But national/global chains...
I don’t go often, but this happens to me every time I go to a Starbucks. Big lines and the menu is basically just flavor variants of 4 different…
I thought the same thing when I read it... I’m trying to think of other players I really liked who I ended hating because of their post-playing career.
If there was ever a truer statement....
Check out “Valley Uprising” on Netflix. Cool doc on the birth and evolution of climbing focused around Yosemite.
The first El Capitan climb took 47 days in 1958 - with a team going up and down fixing ropes each time.
Honnold doing it in 4 hours without any rope is insane.
I really don’t think that’s fair... From what Barry is saying, nosebleeds costing over $100 and the stadium being a pain to get to is a huge factor.
Sold out stadiums don’t always mean more fans. Not every town is Montreal... MSG sells out nearly every Ranger game at ludicrous prices, and the lower bowl is 40%…
Waiting for the official tweet from Devos/TWH saying something along the lines of, “Had a great speech today with some wonderful new grads. Everyone loved it!”
That’s actually pretty lucky. This event I maybe opened 40 loot boxes the hard way (none-paid) and got Torb’s blue skin and McCree’s. Never got a duplicate of either. I did get Dva’s highlight intro 4 times though...
Good point - but they really don’t take too much longer to put on than slipping shoes on (don’t touch the toe straps, leave the ankle open - just one velcro strap to pull over).

Despite how you might feel about how they look... They really are great for camp shoes. Weigh next to nothing, sturdy, and more secure than standard sandals when you’re stumbling around the campsite at night.

Hm - good point. Remove the water, you kill the steam. Won’t stop what’s happening deep below, but will kill what makes a geyser a geyser.
Agreed - the posters are a great idea.
I agree with you on some of the other deals - but I still don’t buy Hall’s value = Larsson’s value. Larsson looks better playing behind a good set of forwards but just because EDM has other offensive talent (they absolutely do) it doesn’t make Hall’s value as a top line star any less.
Isn’t the best thing you can do to these people instead of protesting the day of, is just ignoring it - and booking the same room the following day for event against their policies?
You still take Hall over Larsson regardless of what your team looks like or what you need.
What does pro gaming pay? Not judging, just curious. Is the income based solely on winning tournaments (not a sure thing) or also on sponsorships?
I like Genji’s mechanics - fun to play even though I stink with him - but I’ve started to get frustrated as there’s a Genji in every game, and Genji mains never seem to change mid-match if it isn’t working.
I agree about the goal analogy - but its a little different here. Puts much more pressure on the team going first, with the team going second getting the bonus of knowing what they need, and only having to do it once.
Not necessarily true (whether its right or not isn’t the issue). Noise isn’t limited to only night, if its deemed a nuisance during the day. Also a lot of neighborhoods and towns have standard for how property must be kept.
