A while back they announced plans for a Star Trek horror series. Presumably based on the Gorn as depicted in Strange New Worlds.

but isn’t this then massively undercut by the reveal that Rey took the books already? Am I misunderstanding or is this scene just Yoda straight fucking with Luke for giggles like back in Empire Strikes Back.
lol that scene RULED
“Honestly”? I don’t think that word means what you think it does.
As much as I love anime, I’d love to actually see Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft more.
Total disagree. Falcon and the Winter Soldier was much more awesome than it wasn’t and I’ll go down defending it until my dying day. It’s handling of race was definitely interesting and more nuanced than anything to date in the MCU (more Ezekial Bradley, please!), the characters were interesting and deepened…
Very unlikely. There are set photos of his stunt double and descriptions already. Apparently he wears googles and has axes? Didn’t sound like Dr. Doom to me.
Well duh, everyone wants to see the real J.Lo.
I just have to point out, that’s a 54 year old woman in that picture. I’m talking especially here to those people who complained about Ruby’s age makeup in the last Doctor Who.
But there is, as established in countless playground arguments, such a thing as infinity plus one.
Sorry Mila, if AV Club cancels you, your career is totally fucked.
Because the ones you had to watch what you say around - parents, teachers, bosses - were figures of authority whom you were obliged to respect.
American Black culture idolizes violent criminals like Diddy. Everyone he knew was complicit by their silence. How many times do we need to hear about celebrities covering up the wrongdoing of their peers before it finally dawns on us that one’s public persona and their private life are not the same?
Hey George, shut the fuck up & get to writing. Never finishing A Song of Ice & Fire is one of the biggest fuck you to fans ever.
Absolutely. Late Night with the Devil was another IFC/Shudder low-budget horror that came out earlier this year, and while I didn’t love it as many seemed to, it was unique enough to make it worth watching.
I count myself a fan of Cruise’s professional work, especially with how he architected his career in a very strategic and calculated way.
Huh. I’ve never read him as insanely intense, so much as insanely blank with dead eyes. He’s not bad, he just seems to get cast to play the dead-eyed sociopath that the audience can project onto.
Exactly. In fact I even liked what he turned out to be on its own terms. The incompetent child-king who blusters and blunders his way into more power than he knows what to do with is one of the film’s more interesting angles (and, uh, more than a little relevant these days...). But it just never connects because he…
fall guy’s only been out 3 weeks and you can watch it at home this weekend.
