hates the taste of charcoal

Learning how to make a roux changed my life....for the better.

That was my second question just looking at the photo. How in the hell was she not sent home to change clothes? So beyond unprofessional (next to the inexcusable behavior, or course).

Claire - I love the mug!

I completely understand that people will become panicky blobs of “ohmygeezustheworldsending!” in some situations, but if you can’t calm down enough to answer some simple questions, the 911 operator *CANNOT* get help to you in a timely manor, or possibly at all. People need to realize this, accept it and try to make

This may be the sad part, but I don’t see this as an insult at all. She stated a true fact. I commend her for tell the boy what place in society he chose by taking the action he did.

The list changes between stores, but same here. Plus, I’m an introvert so getting in and out as quick as possible is one of the goals, here.

Tetris scarred me, too. I do all of the same things and cringe watching others load their carts. It hurts my brain.

Hey, Becky was just dumped. She needs someone to talk to. Work is just one of those ‘things’ that gets in the way of the conversation.

This. My local grocers started the self-scan belts for large carts a couple of years ago. My wife gets irritated with me because I organize the cart as we go down the aisles, but when we get to the checkout I have everything bagged up twice as fast as she does, and frozen is with frozen, bread is not crushed under

Either: A. Lack of discipline/training/common sense/a mentor to teach them, or B. Don’t care, not their groceries.

That sounds very delish. I will give that a try. Thank You!

I was about to say...so simple....almost TOOO simple. It’s a conspiracy. Don’t fall for the trick!

Love it! I hadn’t thought of that, but the extra spice actually sounds great for an especially crappy cold!

America=Inflammation

This works wonders for me when I get a cold (which is rare, but usually when I sleep deprive myself):

Nope I don’t hate it it all. I actually enjoy good conversation based on constructive ideas and criticism. I totally see your point - alot of people probably do that because they panic. Personally, I have more control over my motor skills and would gladly move out of the way for mere seconds to give enough space

I don’t disagree at all. People on all sides of the situation have enough in egos in ignorance to pass around.

Besides people with earbuds, that’s also a good point. If you have a large group of people walking together (which rarely happens from what I’ve seen), I can understand taking some width. It’s when a biker wants to pass, give some advance notice further back (you are moving faster than the peds) and usually they

There’s ignorance on the other side, too, I agree. Note to the pedestrians as well - be aware of your surroundings if you are wearing headphones/earbuds. You’re not in a bubble and don’t own the path, either. Wear mirrors on your head if necessary.
