Compared to assisted living, it's a fucking bargain.

Have you ever seen the parody of Nicholas Cage’s agent, where he tries to talk Cage out of one terrible movie role after another and can’t stop him from saying yes? That’s David with a janky-ass Jeep. You can’t possibly find one that is too far gone for him. If you told David there was a manual XJ with power door

I agree with him on unions, with you about his attitude about taxes, and I don’t doubt his family wealth made it possible for his success. However, creating the possibility of success and creating success are different. The vast majority of spoiled rich kids accomplish nothing of significance.

“I had a realistic dream last night where I had to drive Torch to a ChangLi owner’s meet. We waited for seven hours, talking about how to best short Tesla stock, but no one else showed up. I asked what was happening and he looked at me and said ‘no one is coming... Ever’. At this point the squiggly locks of hair that

Permanent war, information harvesting, obfuscation of language, etc. etc.

I don’t understand people being fan boys of anyone and Elon Musk seems like a bit of an ass. However, I also don’t understand the hate he gets. The man has played a large part in revolutionizing 3 separate industries. He has figured out how to profit from space travel, NASA can’t figure out how to do without loosing

Shit you not, I have dreamt that Elon Musk was flying us from North Carolina to London in one of his SpaceX rockets. Suddenly, he announced over the intercom he had to attend a meeting and ejected himself from the rocket. As we were about to crash land in the Thames River in London, Thor guided us down to safety.

Can you please give us another article on some new tail lights or quirky automotive feature. Its honestly much better content when you write about something you like.

Silly waste of money? BMW? I think you’re not paying attention to the customer base here.

Well played.

Huh, I thought it was just the turn signals on BMWs that were non-operational.

That 100 miles of ideal range becomes 70 miles on a cold day, and lower still if you are in a hilly area or if your highway speed exceeds 70mph.

Great. You can be the one person that buys this thing.

If this actually had a 100hp rotary range extender coupled with a 10 gallon tank, it would be the most useful EV in existence. It would be all EV for 95% of the driving, but for the occasions where someone needed to make a long trip, no range anxiety whatsoever.

Wasn’t the i3 with the range extender what you’re describing?

Digging into the ground is equivalent to putting a HUGE mass on the back of the Jeep.

Why is it that when people make idiotic points, they cry “reading comprehension problems!”???

I think you’re appreciating the wrong part of the car. It’s still a beautiful object. Just because it’s past matters to you doesn’t mean it matters to other. Destroying the car does nothing to undo the past. It’s the whole point of objects. They’re fairly meaningless. Even if they are beautiful and have a history.

So we’re just saying the quiet part out loud now, I guess. If you’re wealthy, or enjoy the things that wealthy people enjoy, you’re a fascist.

Edit: I may have misread your comment, I realize now that you are probably referring to the original creators of the car, not everyone at Pebble 2021. Apologies.

Few serious people have actually adapted this opinion with respect to the enormous quantity of WWII-era art, design, and poetry plagued by its odious connection to fascism. Not sure there is a need to start now.
