Even the S14 in the E30 M3 is boring?!

Probably just mother nature/the environment getting revenge for all those trees, sign posts, etc. damaged by Mustangs leaving car meetups.

Enthusiasts might (actually will) still want ICE vehicles. Digital watches are objectively better than analog/mechanical ones in every measurable way, but plenty of people (even those who aren’t really watch enthusiasts) are willing to pay sometimes enormous premiums for what we all know is an outdated piece of

Good thinking. I still think alcantara is good (and lightweight) choice for seats, but it’s just not my preferred material for steering wheels and shifters.

I would agree that alcantara seems to hold up well on seats, but in my experience, it actually wears out quicker on surfaces you touch with your hands (like steering wheels, shifters, hand brakes, door handles). I was fortunate to get up close to a CPO Porsche 911 GT2 RS (997.2 gen) recently, and the factory red

What’s the roof rack situation? And how does it fare with dog toting? Will it puppy?!

Better yet, “Jokesters in Jalopies acquiring Java”

To be fair, Chevy only sell Vettes and Camaros in the UK, so it’s not as though they’re failing to push popular superminis or crossovers. Plus, UK Camaros are LHD only, which makes it an even harder sell.

The RS looks to be PDK only, whereas the regular GT3 comes with a choice (and the GT3 Touring is three pedals only of course!)

“It does beg the question, though; Why not just close the cockpit entirely?”

Just curious, why does “Opticor” not provide additional structural protection (is the material not strong enough or something)? Or is there an issue with the amount of area covered by the screen?

Maybe Geely can throw their hat in the ring. Of all the brands Ford sold off last decade, how surprising would it be if Aston and Volvo were reunited under the same parent company again?!

I would make fun of this car, but it looks like it’s already been roasted.

Considering that animal is just about blind, it’s pretty ironic BMW named this concept the i Vision.

Can anyone explain to me how/why this looks more like a CLK GTR than a McLaren F1? I’m not saying this new car looks bad or anything, but I am saying it looks a lot like a modernized F1 than a CLK GTR. Apart from the scoop above the roof (btw the McLaren, which came out before the CLK GTR, had that first) and the

“...a rolling chassis for the 918 Spyder. I love this because it’s made from 997 body parts.” - are you sure about that? The rear bumper/tail lights and center console buttons all appear to be lifted right out of a 991.1

Just FYI, Porsche has finished at the sharp end of vehicle dependability/reliability surveys like JD Powers and Consumer Reports for over a decade running. They’ve even pipped Toyota and tied Lexus on a few occasions! So in spite of IMS bearing issues discussed ad nauseam on Jalopnik and the rest of internet, it

Lol my vote for COTD. Usually, you need a whole chain of comments to get that many great puns in a row, but you managed to squeeze (pun intended) all those into one post. Thumbs up (or maybe just one thumb haha)!

Can anyone confirm if the second (non Ruf) 911 is in fact a 930 Turbo? It seems to have a whale tail instead of the tea tray spoiler found on the 3.3 Turbos. Could this be a narrow body 3.2 Club Sport with a roll cage (or maybe another model) or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
