My Mazda6 wagon would take about 300km to burn off half the tank (according to the fuel gauge), but the distance it takes for the needle to go from middle to empty takes merely 180km — and my driving hasn’t changed. Really annoys the heck out of me sometimes.

Hong Kong follows the UK style (white front, yellow rear) plate system since forever — down to the fonts too. But that has changed in the past fifteen years or so when vanity plates became more popular in HK and people wanted to use a different font for “individuality”.

Yeah it took them so long I thought that maybe they used a stolen Dodge Caravan (they do have a notorious reputation for being easy to steal). I really have no idea why it took them so long.
