That basically when I use it as well. And it is nice - but as you say, you have to be hover hands / feet the whole time.

Having lived in California since 1999, the smog situation is INFINITELY better. If you head about 30 miles east of LA along I10, you’ll come to a hill where you can see the entire valley. The difference from 20 years ago is stark. 

I’m pretty sure you mean NOT to charge between 4 and 9 PM. That’s when our power is most expensive and dirtiest relative to demand. Waiting until after 9 means getting out of the peak.
