Yep, but I’m not sure they’re a like for like comparison. Roads get used by thousands of people per day. An off road trail might be a few hundred a month at the most.

All I see is the Mitsubishi L200 and a load of old Subarus in the country. The NE anyway.

The series with about 12 presenters was absurd. Chris Evans ego maniac leaving was more than welcome.

It depends what you want from a car show. I thought it strayed further and further from a show about cars, to a dick about with cars. Which was fine now and again but I did actually want to see cars reviewed.

I’m not inferring anything about fat people. I’m just a little peeved that it took ebikes for people to realise cycling is good for them and they’re not getting the full benefit. And mainly my point is bikes should be a super cheap way of getting around. 

Agreed, having cycled through chunks of Europe, France and Italy people would pull up ahead and hand me water or a small snack. On cold days people would ask if I needed a lift. Couldn’t be more different in the US.

I’d like to see cameras on all intersections. The number of crashes from people pushing through a red light on any of those YouTube dashcam videos is ridiculous. A red light is definitive. Catching someone doing 27 in a 25 seems arbitrary.

I’m pretty amazed it wasn’t mandatory years ago. Considering how many people crash, how many people don’t take driving as a privilege.

Just have to lobby your local government to put in better infrastructure (not just paint) or get so many lights and high-viz gear that you’re safer.
