I’m not intimately in the weeds of manufacturers finances and bonus structure. I’m asking if the ‘savings’ are actually savings. Don’t get so aggressive.

Maybe. I’m not sure the money trickles back to consumers. I might be wrong.
Exactly. They should only serve as place to test-drive (alone if you prefer). A place to get it serviced (if you want).
My only thought is it concentrates the money in fewer hands. If that amount is correct - then that would have gone around a lot more hands than a few execs at each manufacturer. As I don’t get the impression the potential dealership savings are being passed on to the consumer.
I watched the movie Heat the other night. It was 1995 and I think I saw one SUV in the entire movie set in the centre of LA.
How’s that MPG?
I’d get one and put Ford and RAM stickers all over it just to enrage people.
You can’t leave a country without a passport...

In a book I was reading the other day the writer described her seven year old as an “...incredibly confident stupid person” - and this seems to check out with these folks doing this.
It has twice the national debt of the next nearest county.
The US is a poor society overall (earnings, savings, debt) combined with spiralling cost of living, plus the obscene health costs this will only get worse.
Wouldn’t it be The Wizard doing the leg work?
The strategy of going after fans of glamour vs. the actual sport served Monaco well forever, but the US ones have no pedigree... If you’re not actually that into the racing I struggle to see longevity.
New Lexus RX has the same nose thing going on
What a chuffing moose of a car.
There’s a tax loophole for 6000+ pound vehicles. Close that loop for a starter.
I might be wrong but in CA it already exists. I went from a BMW to a Tesla and my DMV fees more than doubled. I assumed that was due to EV taxes lost by not fuelling.
That makes sense - thanks
The key placement here is potentially pretty dim. If you have an ‘off’ your knee would hit the key and both take a lump of flesh off as it also maybe snapped the key off.
