I’d assume he doesn’t write it, but someone from the Sun rings him and he goes on verbal diarrhea rant and some poor bugger has to make a column out of it. That person normally culls the hateful stuff and for whatever reason decided to leave it all in.

My money is on the Roadster... Or a convertible semi. One of the two.

I’d say delivery is the answer there, but not all places deliver from a supermarket.

I mainly mean inner cities and suburbs. MT can’t help people further out by bus in a meaningful way. It needs to be trains with park and ride.

Well that’s crap on the value issue. Assume that’s to keep older cars off the road. Which isn’t fair if you’ve looked after it.

Got it.

It’s a-pillar is more raked than a Vantage V8. Crazy.

Corolla gets up to EPA-estimated 50 mpg combined. Prius is 57. I’d pay more for a Prius for how it looks and being a hatch. Nothing to do with green cred.

Agreed.

Cheap cars exist, but nobody really buys them.

They do - that’s what the ExoShield I reference is.

Toyota.com is wrong then.

Usually if you say anything remotely balanced about Tesla on here you are accused of shilling for Musk, Tesla stock or some sort of variation on where my tongue is in relation to Mr Musk’s anus.

He was on Spike’s Car Radio Podcast two weeks ago talking about it.

Agreed, I’m sure they went through every possible solution. I wonder if it’s got some sort of ExoShield film on it to reduce stone chips etc..

Oh I agree, I don’t know how you solve it.

Imagine someone from Tesla is dispatched to any legislator making a stink and they make a load of false promises and take out for a nice steak dinner and everything goes quiet again.

Not quite true, he merged his X.com with PayPal and because the software was the ‘missing piece’ they ended up becoming more of a sellable or scaleable product. He made the most from the sale so if nothing else he can cut a good deal.

This position is for shifting into a lower gear and increases the engine’s drag to help slow your vehicle down.

Agreed, the requirements were vast, especially considering a narrow body, and right hand drive versions. Job well done, other than that massive windscreen which I would guess must cost $2000 to replace.
