That’s where the law makes an ass of a lot of us - as we all know what a burger is, but someone could still with a straight face claim they were let down by what they received compared to what they expected.

What’s your point? I know this. Anyone who is on this site knows this. I’m saying Tesla will say it can work on the perfect day - so they’re not legally wrong to say FSD exists and can work. Anybody who has ever experienced it in person wouldn’t trust it.
You’re missing the point - it can work in certain scenarios - that’s what Tesla will say if it were to end up in court. I’m not a Tesla apologist I’m just saying what they’ll say when backed into a corner.
I mean - it can - there’s videos of FSD working. It just doesn’t work well in built up areas. You do Point A to Point B in Nevada on a boring road and it will do it.
True but McDonalds calls them “burgers” - and they sort of are, but not what I’d think of as something I’d like to make or eat.
But it can do it in a perfect scenario. But it’s irresponsible to imply you can get in and say take me to Death Valley and expect to fall asleep and wake up there unharmed.
All advertising is implying something. If you take drug x you’ll feel so good a yacht trip is in the offing.
I agree, but to play devils advocate - couldn’t Tesla say we didn’t mean it literally, just that in a perfect scenario it is possible? Like McDonald’s burgers in a perfect world could look like they do on the ads.
I don’t have a lot of time for advertising in general. But isn’t it all just borderline exaggeration/lies?
I’m not reading the rest of your comment in case you mention something that you didn’t write.
Weird how you keep replying considering your barren field.
Nope. If people keep calling them ‘accidents’ people will keep thinking they are unavoidable moments of fate.
When you get in an ‘accident’ and attempt to sue the other driver but their insurance says no - it was an accident, there’s nobody to blame... remember this.
One cornetto for you as reward
Shout out to the idiot driver of the Civic parking on a crossing
I expect him to develop back pain any minute now.
Yep, I understand that. I would wait one cycle then proceed if clear. I would never roll a red light on a 4 way street, that’s insane.
It’s not an accident - it’s a cyclist running a red light intentionally. They have all the blame. An ‘accident’ is almost never an accident. There’s always blame.
That could easily be reversed were she a Republican.
I absolutely don’t condone running the light. To be clear.
