It’s exactly why there’s no political will to do it. It’s almost as hot a potato as regulating guns.

Problem is when someone is ejected from a car for not wearing a belt, there’s usually several people who either witness this or are involved in dealing with the aftermath. I’m all in favor of helping idiots save themselves so other people don’t get PTSD.
