The value of one journalist actually doing some journalism and taking a day or two to do some research reaps massive rewards. But the ADD media must cover the story minute by minute just repeating what others are saying.
It obviously doesn’t excuse thieving. But if you left an unlocked car in a bad neighborhood - sooner or later - someone desperate will open the door.

F1 Teams are already taking the piss with budget cuts. All they do is create a subsidiary company that happens to make suspension parts for F1 cars and has a deal where they only sell them to e.g. Ferrari. All the R&D costs are put through the sub company and Ferrari pay a ‘fair market rate’ for the parts.
How is there any debate about this? I always assumed the price was close to what you would have paid anyway. I never thought you’d get lumbered with a 600% differential.

I don’t see many Waymos driving near me to be fair.

I always assumed the problem would be the nozzles freezing as they’re exposed to elements and not heated by the engine. So even if the reservoir was liquid it couldn’t bypass the frozen nozzle.
Unless that’s flat too as people never check the pressure in them.
I rented one years ago and thought the fuel indicator was broken as it didn’t move for hours of driving.
