‘”I’m reminded of the Ana De Armas trailer lawsuit which had some legal validity but got dismissed because the plaintiff admitted they didn’t actually watch the movie based on the assumption Ana De Armas would be featured.”’

I don't think anyone thought it would be "good" per se. They just didn't think it would be this bad.

Yep, there was some good stuff like the X-Wing books and the initial Zahn trilogy, but by and large the books were either horribly written or just boring as hell.

It’s not that it didn’t make logical sense, it’s just that the books were really bad.  Nothing in the new stuff is even close to as lousy as Courtship of Princess Leia, Crystal Star or Darksaber.

We really need to stop acting as if porting to a lower end console is somehow some low effort. It usually isn’t, and I’d argue that it takes a greater effort to work within the Switch’s limitations.  Because honestly, I see that vid and I’m more impressed at the technical wizardry to get it onto the switch in the

They hit on such a successful model with their 6ish hour Story Modes, a legit “the reason most people buy it” mode that propelled them to 10 million sold per outing, that I think their resources are mainly focused on that, and something like Invasions or the Krypt hubs from X and 11 can be pulled off somewhere in the

I’m trying to remember any equivalent mode from any fighting series that could be considered objectively ‘good’.

It’ll be an acquired taste, I’ll reserve judgment to see how it plays out long term (apparently it will alter alongside the online seasons). But I don’t mind them trying to freshen up the unlockables quest beyond “run around, find stuff”, it’s worth taking a whack. Sometimes it’ll work; the best side mode in MLB The

I’m always happy to see another Vanillaware game. I liked a lot of stuff shown in this Direct but that stole the show for me.

The Paper Mario reveal was completely unexpected. I have a few friends who were already hyped for the Mario RPG remake (which I honestly never thought would happen) and are losing their minds

The title and image reveal exactly nothing about the episode that wasn’t obviously foreshadowed at the end of last weeks episode.

He was in the episode from last week.

I guess focusing on your family and raising your kids is considered evaporating...

While Megan Fox’s acting has improved (particularly lower budget films), she’s a pretty big draw for MK’s casual player demographic as well as fans of 80's/90's franchises due to her roles in Transformers and Ninja Turtles.

Mainly it just gets their game attention. But I suspect NRS also just likes doing stuff like this, whether it be guest VAs, and collabs or reaching into pop-culture for guest characters.

The thing is Miyamoto has a weird logic to his madness. My favorite was Donkey Kong Returns on the Wii. Miyamoto tried out an early alpha and noticed a little dust cloud when you jumped so he started jumping up and down to make more dust clouds. after a little bit he apparently said “you should use that effect for a

To be fair the original east blue saga is drawn out to the extreme, even by some shonen standards. Luffy is literally drowned for hours in the anime and it’s passed off as a couple minutes.

Between the obvious problem you’re addressing, and Netflix’s history of not letting its projects finish, I think most people are just assuming that OPLA simply won’t get a proper ending.

Donnie Yen’s character never had a Jedi trainer; he was basically self-taught, so I think there was a ceiling. The mysteries of the force seem like a thing where you need generations of knowledge and experience and structure to truly utilize the way a Jedi does, and you can’t just learn it by yourself.

I really hope it’s a nobody, just some jobber in a mask. Yet another almost jedi who joined up. They way they can be used however much, or little that the story needs.

Oh you can’t spoil it for me. He gets offed by his own honor guard after assuming that he’d maintain their loyalty indefinitely. It was neat of Leia to figure out she was the Mal’ary’ush (or however that was spelled) but it was still just “You’re from an important bloodline” junk that has always tended to clutter up
