Black pudding is so good if you can get it.

I periodically try foods I dislike, just to see if I still don’t enjoy them. But overall? I’m an adult, and I do the bulk of my own cooking. I feel no need to eat things I don’t like. And since my aversions tend to be texture based, I can generally tell if I won’t enjoy something.

I don’t see a problem with this. Good for teaching the students how to pick up after themselves.

I think for British people it’s a comfort food - like Kraft dinner or something or ramen. Beans with toast are part of a Full English, after all. Having had it, it’s really good and (of course) super easy! In the US finding the Heinz beans the British use can be a little difficult.

When my friend used to work at Taco Bell, he said that the eggs came in a box labeled “PUFF SCRAM PATTY”. He no longer eats eggs there.

I thought of the same thing when I read this article... but, it sounds like the “egg loaf” was not actually a thing at McDonalds, and apparently they worked very hard to dispel that rumor.

Yeah, that’s a Pret corporate thing. They have a setup with a New York City food-rescue group, too.

Little Cesar’s is famous among the dumpster-diving community for this. If their manager doesn’t approve, they will often leave it out back, unsullied, for the hungry.

I haven’t really begged for food like this, but I have gotten free stuff, most of which is just part of the business model.
