Food, uh sweets, for thought. A lot of the “American” candy sold in the UK is manufactured in the UK. 

I know American diplomats are keen that the UK should lower or drop food standards, but that hasn’t happened yet. In this circumstance, at the very least,  I’m pretty sure that oil would need to be labeled as a product originating in America before it could be sold in the UK.

I think it was Michel Roux who used to ask prospective staff to fry an egg for him.

There was/is the same problem with a reply from BTSburn on August 16th in the whisky article. 

I would like to save/like this reply which shows in notifications but not in the comments. Even when I click on “show pending”. Have I read the full comment? I don’t know because it doesn’t show. This is a weird glitch and really drags The Takeout down.
